A LITRE! Are you serious! And in a plastic container that looks like it should hold something rather caustic! Interesting marketing idea...
Hope that works out well for them...

Well I think it's aimed at barbers, who would hopefully decant it into something a bit pretty. Or alternatively you could use it to make Molotov cocktails with.

I spent a while looking at vintage aftershave bottles on eBay the other week, there were a lot of Avon ones, but also some really quite nice ones too.

Thanks bongo, I don't know that I would be in for a litre without trying it first, but that would probably be a year's supply so I reckon it would be around a 50% saving on the cussons aftershave I buy, and I could just stick a pump head on it and I would be away. I love pump head bottles for stuff I use a lot. But Carl would not approve as it looks ugly, actually like.this:Name: 1380717105560.jpg

Glycerin and witchhazel in the big bottles, cussons aftershave in the little spray bottle, and mixed musgo and maca root and glycerin in the small tub. I would go pretty but I don't want too much stuff that I care about at work.

I think you've got your priorities right Ed. I just bought this Ed Pinaud bottle off the 'bay, $36.00 of which 20 is shipping from U.S.
Maybe next week I'll actually buy some Pinaud to put in it bloody impulse buy....

Well the bottle neck looks almost big enough that you could just dip your face in it. I am not sure how you will go tipping out of a 1l container into your cupped palm without spilling a lot.
If I knew I liked it I would consider it.
