Alrightalrightalright! No bloody Conchos's then! You blokes just want to see photos of the blisters you give me by doing all this hand sewing. If I had have made the title something like "Mick's oldtimey frontiersman leather satchel bag" you would have let me I'm sure.

And listen here, you pair are bloody good at the criticism, but I've only seen a couple of posts where other people have posted there own handiwork and only one of those had any value in the likes of skill and it had nothing to do with date rolls, Ed (I'm looking at you here.). So c'mon, show us your leather making skills even if it isn't a 'handbag'.

Ok ok, I know when to stop (almost), I use satchels most of the time, I am not really keen on the look of backpacks, they are quick way to look like a tourist or a schoolkid.
On my treadly I use rear panniers. Not that it has seen use for a while.

I have one of them here mate. you can borrow it if you like. I'll leave it on the table waiting. I saddle stitch a lot of, well all of my stuff. I like it for it's strength. Those stitching awls only allow for lock stitching...Unless I've failed to learn a trick or two with them.

I think it's mostly talk, with me being the only one in on the action Pixel. Feel free to start one of your own and post up pics here though mate. The only pics I've got so far, I've posted up already. As I progress I will add more. Though that won't be today. I have a sick kid to look after as priority number one today.

I have made some stuff. hmmmm moccasins I have a picture of. Most of my other leather work is repair, although I did make a small bag to hang on my saddle up front. Keeps my smoke and a hoof pick handy.
The pictures not that great but you may be able to see some detail.

How are the seams going to be, internal or external?

Ah ya force me hand Ed. I wasn't posting pictures today but here ya go. The seams are going to be external as you can see on one of the side pouches under construction. Stitching is Saddle stitch which on this pouch has had one complete pass. I like to over engineer these things so I will most likely do a return journey to the starting point. Better to double stitch, than to have to re-stitch a year after completion.

P.S Nice Moccasins Pups. I like them a lot.

Looks good, and probably a good thing you are going to omit the conchos, unless you start a line of leather ponchos with conchos.
