I bought 3 LG HG2 but was planning on starting out with just 2. See how it goes and maybe play with the 3 set up just to see if it makes me hack a lung out :<0) Well I was going 12mg so I could dilute in straight flavor juice. Am I mixed up here? If I mix a 12mg like 3 to 1 won't that give me a mix with 4mg ? Heck I'll probably buy more juice than I have razors. Guess i'll start with a caramel apple 6g and see what happens after I learn the machine.

It comes tomorrow according to the tracking. So I will be back soon with details on what I tried first. Thanks for the tips. I read a ton of stuff about all this but it helps to have friends with experience chip in. I will know more thanks to you guys before I make mistakes on my own.

When I did quite smoking i had crushed my left leg and was confined to a chair. i noticed a knot on my right side of the neck and when it was tested and removed it was cancer. i was smoking around 3 packs of marlbough red a day. I wish i had had something to help but didn't. people say it's like loosing an old friend. it's not. itl's worse. your kicking the friend out. I still think about smoking but not as much as you would think. I had smoked for 40 years. If it would help I will send a PM with my cell no. Good luck and God bless.

LOL - be careful, I remember first hit I took, I got dizzy...they can really pack a punch, but just make sure you give time to transition.

I'd recommend maybe getting two packs of smokes, start your day with real smoke or two, then put the pack away and try to stay on the vape. Took me 2.5 or 3 weeks to slowly get through the two packs, but I was smoking the real one's less and less as time went on, and it made it much easier when I was down to the last 3 smokes to say, all right, this is it. I came close to buying, "Just one more pack to see me through...", but bit the bullet and haven't had a real one since.

One other thing, out having a smoke with friends, you can't, can't just grab one for the heck of it...you know you'll be back in a flash...and if you forget your vape, or it runs out of power, you just got to bite the bullet and wait till you get home to refill or recharge.

I started storing extra juice at the office..running out half way through the day is something you let happen once....

Looking forward to hearing what you think...still remember the first flavour I asked for at the Vape Shop, "Do you have anything that taste's like a dirty ashtray?"

1 part 12 nic to 2 parts 0 nic would be 4 nic result. 2 part 12 nic wwith 1 part 0 nic would make 8 nic. If you have already purchased 0 nic juice, I would guesstimate a mix in the tank rather than mix a 30ml or 60ml bottle. That is, if 12 nic is too strong.

Bear in mind, you can "tune" the vapor with a lower wattage will make it less intense.

2 or 3 batteries shouldn't change the intensity if the wattage is kept the same. The time between charge will be longer though.

A rule of thumb, to "pair" or "marry" your batteries in multi battery mods. This means to use the set as one consistently. Charge and discharge them simulyaneously and don't swap between sets. Some people put some sharpie on them with names to differentiate sets. I.e. tom & jerry, sugar & spice, wade & butcher, etc. Ideally, you would also swap slots after the recharge as well. For example. If battery 1 was in slot 1 and battery 2 in slot 2, after a recharge; you would put battery 1 in slot 2 and battery 2 in slot 1.

The Mod came today and after I figured out which end of the batt was which I put them in. I thought I was sure because of the 1 end being more busy with detail but no + or - signs really ? Went with the 2 batt config. to start but already got all 3 together. I was hanging around waiting for the lady friend to tag along as I needed to buy the Baby Beast and some juice and she has yet to decide on anything. These shops will deal with you and the bigger the bundles the more they deal. The waiting lasted about 15 minutes and I was off to the vape store. She could catch up right ? Pfffff So, I have about 6 Vape shops within five miles and that's just in 1 direction. I picked 1 to deal with because it reminds me of SRP. Relaxed atmosphere and met 3 different guys each time I went in there but they all seemed laid back and knowledgeable. Didn't try to sell, just answered questions and their prices were lower or they would match anything brick and mortar. I bought the tank and was told I could get some caramel apple flavor juice but all they had was a Great Creamy Caramel Vanilla Custard Flavor. I'm loving it but still wanting the apple.

So everything paid for the guy took it over to another like bar and said he would set it up for me. Now when I say bar the only thing missing was the glasses and taps. The bottles behind the bar were smaller of course with names on them like John Wayne, Villain Vapors, Chocolate chip cookie. I asked about the cookie and the guy says " don't do it" insanely good and you'll stroke out from nicotine using 6mg. IN other words pretty tasty. The lingo thing is a learning curve I am finding out. Describing the taste and actually knowing what the hell they are talking about is 2 different things. Mostly learned what harsh , hot, smooth , deep, careful, means today.

There it sat on the counter and the guy went about his business kind of waiting. I said well I guess I should give it a go. The guy smiled and just let me go at it. He had it set on 37.6 watts and I cautiously took a drag straight into the lungs. My first exhale was kind of wimpy but none of the guys at the bar said a word. I tried a mouth to lung hit and that was almost non existent when it came to cloud. I figured what the heck lets give these guys what they are waiting for and I took a good size lung filling hit. On the exhale I had some decent vapor coming out and was very surprised. The taste kicked in a little more and no choking to death. So the confidence set in and I took about the same size drag only held it in a little longer. Bad idea ! Couldn't get it out fast enough and the coughing began at about half emptied lungs. Wasn't bad though. That stinging burning thing was missing from the cough. I sat there about another 10 minutes puffing away and watching the clouds. We talked about watt settings and coils for the Baby and I got pretty comfortable with it. The guy helping me was puffing on 1 with the 8 core coil in his and watts at 35. He told me to try it so I could see the difference. He had a coffee flavor going and I took about the same size hit I got used to. By the end of it I noticed the heat coming off the tip. It was a nice hit and will have to fight yet another acquisition disorder I am sure. Coffee was goooood.. I was in the shop about half an hour and left thinking this is going to work well. I dropped into work on the way home to fill in a time sheet and when I was in the store I think I felt the nicotine kick in. They said it would take longer than getting it through a cigarette and it felt like it hit all at once. 6mg is enough.

The juice I got ( Villain Vapors , Dillinger) is 70/30 and I don't see any reason to start experimenting with that anytime soon other than maybe dropping down to 3mg depending on my puff habits and how they grow or don't.
All in all you guys have been spot on as far as advice goes. I just have to develop my style now I guess.

Going to play around with the settings tonight. It does give % for each battery when you push the right buttons but there is a little indicator on the screen I want to change from bars to % too. I have heard using temp instead of watts saves battery life by stopping the coil at that temp rather than just continuing to pump what ever watts you have selected at the coil. I got #110 bucks into this thing but happy about it so far. Could have saved another 20 maybe but the shop experience was worth the extra bucks. Still need to get an external charger but ,,,, where is she anyway. I guess she won't catch up. I'll just get the big charger tomorrow and she will have to catch up to get a charge out of me :<0)

And Phrank , I was a boy scout. I buy my whiskey by the crate and smokes by the carton. Never run out of personal supplies is a habit of mine. I learned what you said about, not having once, when I was a kid. Rarely am I not prepared. Heck I have a change of cloths in my truck at all times. Head to toe change.
This set up should last me 3 days before I need a charge and will have 3 backups in my tool box or truck depending on the weather. Juice is going to be like soap I think. 8 year supply that can be spread out if necessary. Plus the shop is close so unless something happens in the middle of the night supplies are almost within walking distance.

5 days in.... going good with the vape. On the 3rd day I was in my vape shop and the guy let me taste about 6 different flavors. I ran out of my favorite and so did he so I was looking for something else to try. 1 was a tobacco and I gave it an honest shot but didn't like it at all. Had to put a new atomizer in my tank and it took 5 hours for the smell to leave my nose. I also finished the last 5 cigs in my 1/2 pack I had left. I wanted no more tobacco taste in my mouth after that day and the cigs kind of killed the artificial taste. I wound up with a sour gummi worm flavor that is okay but wasn't cutting it really. I went back in today to get some of that Villain Vapor with the creamy caramel vanilla custard flavor and all they got in was 3g nic stuff. I special ordered 120ml bottle of the 6g so I could get it tomorrow. Gawd I thought cigs were addicting :<0)

Also making a list of supplies to start mixing my own juices. The flavor choices I see and or try just don't appeal to me. And at the rate I am going through this stuff if I am going to save ( that sounds familiar ?) I better start thinking bulk.

I am thinking completely from scratch but they do have these mix and vape ingredients. Anybody try those ? The base comes pre mixed and you just add the flavor concentrate, shake and vape. No steeping , no calculating. I have been reading these flavors and some require a week if not a month of steeping. There has to be a trade off for convenience. Just wondering if any of you guys know how bad that trade off is ?

Should say I think about having a cig once in awhile but not enough to go buy any. Fought that when they were sitting here on the work bench.

I was doing some mixing for awhile until, just with enough time in, I finally found one, kind of caramel based, it's called, "555" or triple 5...might be a more local blend...but that one worked for me. For my other unit, I try to use that one as one to try other flavours and occasionally some of the more expensive premium brands, one out of California called "Five Pawns", some pretty nice stuff, I especially like the Gambit and Queenside. Trying another one as well called, "Camel" nice stuff, hint of a fine light cigar to it.

At least for me, after you go through enough of them, one of them will finally land as your "go-to" vape, then you can have another unit to just change things up and experiment with different flavours.

Nice to have two around, you can choose which one to huff on....:-)

Okay I'll admit it!!!! I got an RX200 also. Almost the same as the 2/3 but only uses 3 batts with no option for 2. It's black and red instead of red and black and has a gold Baby Beast sitting on it also. I got another tank I keep with me for quick switching flavors until I get it back. Let a lady friend start using it today because drawing off hers was like trying to suck a tennis ball through a garden hose. She is shopping for a new one so I let her see what power can do for the taste.
I can get that 5 pawn stuff in a local shop and may give one of those flavors a try. So far the deserts sound best to my taste buds. I ordered Cappuccino Diablo from this place. Looking for some good coffee flavors too. That's what got me to thinking mix my own. The guy in my favorite shop let me try some coffee mixture but then when I go to buy some he said that was a private reserve a friend of his made.
I am ordering cremes, caramels, coffees, chocolates, milks, and maybe a berry or 2. All the bases I am ordering 100% so I can play with pg/vg percentages and slowly pull back on the nicotine or cut it out completely for friends. IF I come up with something good.

So far I hear the 70/30 mixes are best for taste and equipment. That 1 you pointed out is 50/50 and all their stuff is. I got to try it.

I run a Ruelux RX200 for some time now. But I use a dripper and vape 6mg at 70w. I got away from the tobacco flavored juices pretty quickly. I have grown to like the fruit flavored ones, more sweet. Right now I am buying from Element eliquids form Florida. Very smooooth and great flavors. I have a 15% discount code if anyone wants to try their juices

10Pups, you'll love the Smoke brand tanks, I have a couple of them. Also the new Aspire Celito is a great tank. Good air flow as well.
The dripper I use is an Anarchy/Ariat and it kicks ass in my opinion.

The Smok tanks are all I know and/or care too really. ( I say this now) I read and watched a lot of reviews before I set mine up. They are coming out with a rebuild-able coil for them soon. Might be able to get them at Smok but will wait. Haven't tried all they have out now yet and building sounds like work :<0)

Found a new fav today,,, Tiramisu. That's 2 that will always be on the self. Another desert flavor but this one is strong with the coffee. Just pulled this from wiki because it covers the flavor better than I could describe it.
