Thanked: 42063” all the way back, but leaving room post mf for a glass pack if it’s still too loud.
And I gotta believe it’s designed quieter than the thrush… it’s an offset design opposed to straight tube

3 inch? Magnaflow? Why 3 inch?
Yeah, a resonator across under that valance.
Mine on the 289 are 2 1/4 a side. Did the Magnaflows just for the stainless aspect.
Booming shit. Some baffles in the tips got it better.
Maybe yours will not be like that.
Make another video after 3 inch exhaust!Last edited by sharptonn; 07-07-2022 at 02:04 AM.

Thanked: 4206Kinda hard to see but I added an insulated boot cover as a first revision.
Need to bust out the singer to do a proper hem, but I wanted to see if I could knock down the road noise some, on the quick.
And added the threshold strips to finish off the interior edges with an oem look. Just need to remove the sealant used underneath for weatherproofing,,once cured..
At night, the new footwell lighting really catches these in a coool way. Little nuance to add to the OEM feel, in a classy way, IMO.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206Think it’s actually 2.25-.5” looking at the header and as far as the exhaust itself, I told the shop I wanted quieter that the thrush, the space they have to work with in the frame, and left the design up to them.
The original was a bell, offset through muffler, so this’ll be closer to that then what I have now.
And yessir, will be more vid’s to come. Maybe even try to get the drone involved.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4206New tires installed today and I am happier.
Rips along almost like her old self almost. Revs around 4k for 95kmh, or around 55 mph but yeah think I’m going to be looking into a 5 spd tranny upgrade next winter if I can find a cheap Toyota W58 gearbox as that’s the one that fits almost plug and play from the triumph forums. After everything done, the only thing is the missing gear now to make her a modern road roadster.
Can be on the hunt and amass what I need and pull the trigger in a week. That shouldn’t piss the wife off to much mid winter,
