Snaps installed along the rear. Read on a mg page that some did this to make it easier to get in the boot when the top is up, also makes for a cleaner rear line when the top is down and the tonneau is on.

And got the tonneau installed today as well! But it needs a wash being used. But it’s in great shape!
It uses lift the dot posts to secure it as opposed to snaps.

Only thing left to install are the racing screens, and the third brake light mod, but all the really critical, in your face forever if f—ked up items are successfully installed.
    A big day indeed!
Tires will be ready for install in the am, then just waiting on the exhaust system.

Is it Godzilla on the back and when you step on the brakes, his eyes light up?

Going to install it on an arm located at the top of the Doretti Carrier on that clamp you can barely see.
That way, when the carrier is down the light will be able to pivot. Maybe stop someone rear ending it.
Plus the back of the brake light will be a handy place to mount a go pro providing a better road view than my phone in the mirror did.

Latest drive, post driveshaft clearance tweak part two and the little groans and scrapes are gone! Only noise now is the exhaust bumping and I was driving her pretty sportingly!
Getting ore and more confident and peppy each outing..

New tires ride better, but it’ll take some getting used to being lower to the ground. Trim rings were a good add on I think and really set the wheels off!

Speedo is even more off now that I’ve lost so much circumference in the back, but the off the line pull is way stronger. Like snap your head back strong.
Guess I can call her a wicked fast, low speed sports car, hehe.

Can see the third brake light installed now. Yes, seems high, but really, a pick up truck behind me still would barely see it if he was close enough. But it should make for a bit more safety, and you can see how it’ll pivot if the carrier is down and in use. I went with a vintage glass and housing so all three rear lights are actual glass, and are similar shading. Also it gives just a bit of height so the GoPro ‘should’ be able to film runs half decent over the tonneau cover.

If I find it’s too tall I can always shorten it easily enough as well.
Only thing now is the exhaust, and the brookland screens.

If it doubles as a gopro mount leave it. Otherwise...

Down and inside the loop? They will see it.

I would think about the bigs and littles. Screaming for some chunky rears.
You shall have a new set for the front in reserve!

Eww, down cept when filming? I like that idea Tom! .
And ya know,I was thinking as soon as I saw her, hmmm I preferred the big back end, hehe.
Lost all the top end for the sake of the low end and without a 5th gear, she’ll whine pretty high on these..
I may see what Continental offers in bigger back end choices, cause yes, a pair of spares for the front,,hehe.
