Thanked: 4206I’m hoping that either mothers or 3m marine will shine this up well enough for sure.
Figure if I use a mechanical buffing wheel as well, maximize my chances. And at speed who sees scratches, hehe."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Yeah, I'm liking the open engine/no hood cover look. Boy, I'm getting excited. I'm sure you must be chomping at the bit. I noticed that in your reflection a few post back you were smiling like a bear with his head in a bee tree.

Thanked: 4206Worked out a Christmas deal with a bloke in Nor Cal this am.
Straight trade for my old original front brake drums I’ll ship to him, and he’s shipping me a full black fabric tonneau cover, less the fasteners on his shipping dime. No monies involved and we both get something we need out of the deal.

Thanked: 4206Got my steering column installed and the front wheels turn under common input once more! Also got the fume excluder installed, and the base level of sound and heatproof matting down. Will leave the upper areas clear till the wiring holes are all identified as it’ll be easier and cleaner installation.
Happy with the pedal geometry and the original style accelerator peddle I fabricated, also have the gauge cables routed and out of the way as well.
I have the new rad shell properly/permanently mounted and the wing headlight mounts adjusted to their new locations and new rubber grommets installed.
Now I can check bonnet alignment before final radiator securement.
Few more boxes checked off.
Hope y’all are having a few days off to do as you will.
Need to take a break from the car to run an eavestrough deicing cable along the garage. The garage heat is causing a fair bit of roof melt that has nowhere to go once it hits the cold trough. Don’t want to bugger up the new shingles or eavestrough through my inattention and focusing on side projects.
