Here's some more Off Topic info:
Looks like Walla Walla's elevation is 942 feet above sea level (asl) . St Paul is 751 feet asl and Orangeville is 1411 feet asl.
Seem like of the three locations Walla Walla has the mildest winter weatherOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

To keep this on track where do they measure the elevation?
St Paul is a river town, do they measure it there at the river?
I live on the top of the hill to the north a bit. {400 to 500 feet easily}
So how would one adjust the carburetor for the difference?

That's a good question Tim. Looking online I can't find any kind of official answer. Basically what I found were a bunch of laymen's guesses.
While the official elevation of WW is 942 feet the GPS that I use on my Harley says that the Boars Nest is at 1066. So when I am canning I always use the 15 lb hole on the weighted pressure gauge disc instead of the 10 lb. Most canning regulations say to use the 15 lb if you are over 1000 feet. While it's only 66 feet, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 3224Actually Russia defeated Germany only in WWII. Russia signed a peace treaty at Brest-Litovsk in March of 1918 with Germany and others taking them out of WWI. Only with the Treaty of Versailles in 1919 that Germany was forced to give back land it had taken from Russia.

The Canadian hockey teams did seemed to do better in the original 6 teams in the NHL with 2 out of 6 being Canadian. In the current number of teams, Canadian teams represent 11% less of the total number than in the original 6 team set up. You'd need to add at least 3 Canadian teams to bring the odds back to where it was in the original 6. That might be part of the problem.

No offense intended Bob. See, in hockey this is what we call "chirping."
You're lucky you're not one of my family members. My niece... In law?... Is from Philly. I dogged her out like crazy this yearIron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Too far? Sorry if I offended anyone. Just watching some archived hockey games and got a little carried away in the friendly spirit of competition. I really was just having fun trash talking

Thanked: 4206Too far, and wrong thread maybe Paul?
This is Car stuff, hockey and sports bravado is down the hall.
It’s all good though. I’m always ok with a wandering thread. Nature abhors a straight line they say.
And regarding your post, I only can offer my perspective.
Canadian teams can’t afford top tier Canadian Players in the commercial NHL. Sad but true.
Now you want to talk purely about talent, let’s talk Olympic level hockey and who does what as a country.. Not in this particular thread mind you.
Anyway, back to restoration stuff!
