Well, Don't get carried away. Torque value cannot be much with such fine threads.
I kindof trust the old English stuff above the Chinee repops.
Even if I have to chisel it in!

Mike just think like this, no matter how much you spend it’s small compared to the memory. I remember my tear downs and rebuilds more than I remember the bike.
Right now my sled is in pieces, it started out as a headlight not working“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Thanked: 4206I thought your bike looked fairly stripped in that shot with your new tool chest tc.
Tore down a late 60s pan head with a friend years ago. What a great rebuild experience that was..
Today’s a special day up here.
Noddy rolled off the abingdon assembly line 70 years ago today!
Worth noting as she goes through her transformation..
Going to be eating beef pies and drinking some stout I think!
Cheers gents."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Yep, it will be nice as you will have gone through everything.
But then Harleys and British cars seem a lot alike. No end to working on them.

Thanked: 4206Threw the front wing on for a birthday picture..
Exciting to see how things will line up for scale..
Can see the wing damage still to be dollied out over the winter..
But to my eye I see the improved engine stance already..
Psyched as the car recovers!!Last edited by MikeB52; 12-12-2020 at 07:19 PM.

Yep dollar tree, 32 pieces for a dollar. Makes easy work protecting the inner works from dust. My toolbox always has a box of it. Also use it to plug up holes and stuff before powder coating, the foil will take the heat
