Didn't say it was a barebow...A self bow is a bow that is made from a single piece of wood. and yes a Barebow/Warbow the arrow is shot off your hand.

What are your interests? There are many choices of styles from from a stick and a string to compounds with many in between. Do you want to relax for 1/2 hour once a month, hunting, or competition? There is something for everyone in the spectrum of archery. Originally Posted by Mephisto

As stated before , my son has been using his Genesis bow for about 1 1/2 years. The past year he had 4 competitions, small ones, at the Bass Pro. Some of the instructors have been on me to upgrade from the Genesis. I got him the Diamond Infinite 5lb to 70lb,, then removed the sight that came with it & attached an HHA Sports Optimizer-Lite OL-5019 Bow Sight. Took it today to try & sight it in. He will start another small competition in a few weeks.
