Started on dirt back in '77. Raced enduro in the 80's. Got my 1st street bike in '88 (Suzuki GS 550), then onto a Honda Rebel, then to a '78 HD Super glide. Then in '90 I bought my 1st brand new HD, 1990 sportster (Shown below). Then in 2009 I bought my 2nd brand new HD, 2009 E-Glide Standard (shown below).

2016 Ultra Limited. My best story? I bought this ride September of 2015. We live in Michigan, you know...where the white stuff falls out of the sky. So far I have ridden every month. Granted the 2015/2016 winter had some pretty mild days but I am still claiming the riding streak and will keep it going as long as I can.

Not trying to 'one up you', by any means. My late Father is from northern Mn. (Cohasset), so he was use to a little bit of snow. Not like the U.P of Mi, by no means...but a heack of a lot more than I'm use to living here in south/central Illinois. Anyway, Dad rode and raced motorcycles nearly his entire life. So, 2 wheels were the norm to him. In the late 50's, after Dad returned from the service, he returned to Mn. Although, he lived about 30 miles west of the twin cities. Not having a lot of money, his only form of transportation was his motorcycle. He shared an apartment with an old racing buddy (Johnny Elcox (sp?), who also only had a motorcycle. They both worked in the twin cities. Dad would say, "One the way to work, went went 'coffee shop to coffee shop to coffee shop. On the way home, we went bar to bar to bar." lol
Like I said, not trying to one up you...but I had to share.

Aloha!
I have a 1995 Triumph Trophy 1200 (bought this brand new) and 1982 Honda GL-500 Interstate Twisted V. I bought the Honda a few years ago in mint condition, but did a triple bypass (Timing Chain, Stator, Water Pump) anyway just because of age. It's only got 20k on the clock. It's a true CLASSIC. Very few Honda Twisted V engines were built, and I love them. The Triumph has been coast to coast many times, so that's got 85k on the clock.
Speaking of classic bikes, are you gents aware of "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride"? This is a moto rally for the benefit of Prostate Cancer research. It takes place every September. I started a thread here on The Forum.
A very worthwhile cause. Mostly Classic Bikes (I ride the 82 Honda), and you dress up in your Sunday finest. It's great fun. Takes place in hundreds of cities worldwide.

Videos on Youtube galore! Here is one;"I get some lather and lather-up, then I get my razor and shave! Zip Zop, see that? My face Is ripped to shreads!"

Me and my little precious dream, who is 8 months old. This was the 1st time she sat on G-Pa's motorcycle ('09 HD FLTH, I bought new in '09).
Here's one with her Daddy, back in '96, with my '90 XL (the 1st new HD I ever bought. And Yes, I still have her.)

My 100th anniversary model FXDWG is now history. It was totaled a little over a month ago when someone trying to race a green light, pulled out in front of me. I'm still healing up from road rash, so I'm okay. That's the main thing. I have another one in my garage I need to finish, a Shovelhead.
