Ah no wait, he did admit he could smell his farts. No, nevermind, I understand why you're avoiding it..

Yep I had a feelings that’s what he was going to find, it’s all good, not a bad fix, this could easily have been a battery or connection issue, if you don’t have the needed amps those jackshaft gear doesn’t fully engage leaving you with the gears only partially locked up, and voila this scenario, and it will be ok , may be time for a new clutch assembly anyway at the mileage that it has so all good. 4 glasses of KnobCreek and tear into it!

You can always go to the garage/shop and do some burnouts and have some Knob out there--Just a thought--

I just hope that things warm up around here--I need to work on my Iron Horse and I hate working in the cold!

Just do like I do, Tc. Go out and start all your bikes and get some heat in them. Turn them off. Drink beer
Fire them all off again....Turn them off. You are home! Drink Whiskey!

Well, it doesn't look like I'm gonna swing the deal on the fatboy. Made an offer, he accepted but said he wanted to put it in the shop for any issues.
I advised against this and said I would take it as is and sort it out myself.
He did it anyway and they came back with a bs story, since he is not a bike guy and selling on behalf for a friend.
Don't know the shop and now it's all locked down and can't get hold of the guy. Pretty annoyed as it was a good price and barely run in.
