i would have to agree that tombstone is probably the best western ever made. and if i could i would just write out the whole script as a favorite quote, but that would take quite a while so ill go with this one
wyatt: well i'll be damned
doc: you may indeed...if ya get lucky

Thanked: 0Tombstone has got to be one of my favorites too.
Wyatt Earp: The Cowboys are finished, you understand? I see a red sash, I kill the man wearing it!
Wyatt Earp: So run, you cur... RUN! Tell all the other curs the law's comin'!
Wyatt Earp: You tell 'em I'M coming... and hell's coming with me, you hear?...
Wyatt Earp: Hell's coming with me!
Great when remembering bk to the start
Curly Bill:Hey Johnny, what did that Mexican mean by a sick horse is going to get us?
Johnny Ringo: He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. "Behold the pale horse". The man who "sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him".

Might have to rename this the 'Tombstone' thread
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Turkey Creek Jack Johnson: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ...I don't.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 416While not exactly a western I have always loved this quote!!!!!
I've fought in two World Wars and countless smaller ones on three continents. I led thousands of men into battle with everything from horses and swords to artillery and tanks. I've seen the headwaters of the Nile, and tribes of natives no white man had ever seen before. I've won and lost a dozen fortunes, KILLED MANY MEN and loved only one woman with a passion a FLEA like you could never begin to understand. That's who I am. NOW, GO HOME, BOY! - Hub MaCann

Thanked: 267"Badge", "I donn need not stinking badge" is the most memorable for me but the best to me is from the Virginian with the Duke after a guy calls him a SOB, "Smile when you say that pardner" that is just to cool.

I can vaguely remember a quote goes a little like this. " Can I borrow your razor, mine's just a mite to sharp to plow with"
Anyone know the movie ??? Not sure but maybe Henry Ford 40's -50's vintage. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Being a huge spaghetti western buff, I gotta add a few. I'll add more as I think of them.
"You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig."
-Clint Eastwood in The Good The Bad and The Ugly
"Slap some bacon on a biscuit and let's go! We're burnin' daylight!"
-John Wayne in The Cowboys
