    Outlaw Josey Wales....
"I reckon that mangy redbone hound's got nowhere else to go..."
Then Clint spits on the dog...
"I reckon he might as well ride along with us....hell, everybody else is."

Gee, most of my favorite quotes have already been stated!

Here's one, from Steve McQeen as Josh Randall in the Wanted: Dead or Alive T.V. show.

He walks in to a saloon and accidentially bumps in to a bad guy going out, then there is a verbal exchange.

Frank: "What kind of gun is that?"

    Josh: "Why?"

    Frank: "It's a big one."

Josh: "I'm an itty bitty fella', I need a big gun."

    Or something to that effect.

The Looters episode. Aired October 12, 1960.

Then there is always the "catch phrase" from when McQeen would catch someone...or just use in conversaton.

    "Let's go."

    For proper MLA citation:

"The Looters." Wanted: Dead or Alive CBS. 12 Oct. 1960.

He should have armed himself if he was goin' to decorate his saloon with my friend.

"The sound of the Gion Shoja temple bells echoes the impermanence of all things; the color of the sala flowers reveals the truth that to florish is to fall. The proud do not endure, like a passing dream on a night in spring; the mighty fall at last, to be no more than dust before the wind."

    Default Western Quote

    "No more mosquito"

From the movie Red Sun starring Charles Bronson(Bandit) and Hiro Mifune(Samuri). Bronson tried to sneak up on Mifune but when spotted started swatting himself with his hat complaining of mosquitoes. Mifune promptly drew his sword and sliced one in half.

    From "Silverado:"

Mal Johnson (Danny Glover): "I don't wanna kill you, and you don't wanna be dead."

    From "Quigley Down Under:"

Matthew Quigley (Tom Selleck), to Crazy Cora: "Lady, you're about a half a bubble off plumb, that's for sure and for certain."

Quigley, to goons at dock: "Now I'm new here, so I ain't rightly certain. Are all men in this country as butt-ugly as you three?"

    Default Not real old

One of my favorite western quotes is from Open Range. I know it's not real old

Kevin Cosner "Are you the one that killed my friend?" "Yep" Then Cosner shoots him. I think he really shot him because they killed his dog! LOL!

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this one. John Wayne's character, Capt. Nathan Brittles, in "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon." "Never apologize Mister, it's a sign of weakness."

I cannot believe this movie hasn't been touched yet.

Magnificent Seven, essentially a movie of great quotes:

[Chris is driving the hearse up to Boot Hill; Vin is riding shotgun]
    Chris: We'll get there.
Vin: It's not getting up there that bothers me. It's staying up there that I mind.

Chris: There's a job for six men, watching over a village, south of the border.
    O'Reilly: How big's the opposition?
    Chris: Thirty guns.
O'Reilly: I admire your notion of fair odds, mister.

Old Man: You worry about yourself. Are you ready for him?
    [refers to Calvera]
Old Man: What if he comes now, huh?
Vin: Reminds me of that fellow back home that fell off a ten story building.
    Chris: What about him?
Vin: Well, as he was falling people on each floor kept hearing him say, "So far, so good." Tch... So far, so good!

    AND MY FAVOURITE

Calvera: Somehow I don't think you've solved my problem.
Chris: Solving your problems isn't our line.
Vin: We deal in lead friend.
