Did you get the pistol grip or stock grip Scott?
    Nice looking weapon.

The Benellli's are supposed to be the Cat's meow. Betcha you will like it.
I wanted a MR1 rifle really bad. It has the same action as the Benelli shotguns.
Read where they are not importing them here any more so I flopped on a Beretta CX4 in 9mm.

I went with pistol grip, I feel like I have more control with one. I have several other pump shotguns and rifles with pistol grip.

My only complaint is the trigger, it's crisp...but hella heavy. I can correct that myself, but shouldn't have to on a $2k gun. Going to put a few boxes through it this weekend.
That is a nice shotgun Scott. My personal feeling is that it is way overpriced and way overrated. I looked at one of those ($$$$$) and the Tristar Raptor($$$). I bought the raptor. Looks almost like the Benelli M4. I will spend money on a weapon if it is worth it. I just couldn't come to the well on the Benelli. Good Luck and I hope it works out for you!

I've been after one of these, seems like forever.

    Springfield XDE ~ .45 ~ 3.3 barrel
Single action / Double action ~ Hammer fired
Ambidextrous Thumb Safety ~ Also functions as a hammer de-cocker

They stopped making these last year and are a pretty rare find, especially new.

I'm pretty excited about this one, especially as a carry piece.

Obviously a very long pull for double action, but easily controllable.
Single action there is a wee bit of take-up till it hits the wall, then very crisp.

Has anyone else seen the Rare Breed trigger? This is a forced reset trigger that pushes your finger forward, and legally gives you the I'm your Huckleberry mode. And it's leagle, I waited too long and now I'm on the waiting list. You need a full auto carrier bolt and a stronger buffer tube, and then let the good times roll. Google them, really incredible.

Yes very nice, but, (sorry there's always a but)went to the range with a friend who has one, and out shot him in close quarters drills with my plain Ithica 37,with pistol grip. Now for a relatively cheap scatter gun I can put a slug pretty much where I want it.
