To me, having the DA first round is best for carry. Present and pull with it on half-cock is fastest for me.
That is one thing I dig about my Airweight. Fast to deploy.
Hammer back makes me nervous I suppose...

The Colt is about the same size as the Airweight. A little heavy and square-cornered in the pocket compared to the S&W however.
I suppose I might wear it on the belt mostly when jacket weather gets here.

Here ya go, Mark. Just the handguns.! Way too much ammo to pic.

There's also many rifles, black powder, and shotguns, and a few military rifles mixed in.

Curious, Tom is that a twin holster on the pack? And how does the material on those hold up?

Wow, A pistol with a telescopic sight!

The last pistol I used was a Browning 9mm when I was in the army.

Those things wouldn't go through a wet army greatcoat at 30 meters so telescopic sights wouldn't have achieved too much for those Browning's

    There's two of them, Steve.

The top right is a Ruger, 44 mag. with a red dot, scope.
Its used for hunting whitetail deer, and a occasional groundhog, for S&G

The bottom left, is a Smith & Wesson, model 41. 22LR with a Leopold 4X scope. Squirrel killer.!! Tack driver.
