Yes and no. I don't want to get into a discussion about the reasons or why this is good or bad. That's against our forum rules.
We can have guns, but the paperwork surrounding handguns is horrendous so casual gun ownership is rare.
Rifles and shotguns are somewhat easier, for hunting and skeet shooting purposes.
Carry is not allowed except for LEO profiles.
So when I visited Lynn in February I finally crossed one of the guns off my list that I wanted to shoot. the 44 mag. Although I am curious as to what a 50 mag would feel like
Now I still need to find a way to shoot a pump action shotgun when I visit the us (might be doable) and a minigun (that might be slightly more problematic )Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Or my 700 Remington in 300 Whisper .... I have a suppressor for nearly every firearm I have
If I want to say .... Bond ... James Bond .... I use this
Not a Walther ... but with a Beretta 21A and a Thompson Machine Wasp (about the size of a roll of nickels) ... it's the smallest supressed 22LR package I know of.

Since I live in the U.P. I have a few guns. Hard to find many people around here without one. A Steven Maynard Jr 22lr made between 1900-1906. I still haven't shot it yet. A H&R single shot .410. A 5.56 ar-15. This one is fun to shoot, but with all the accessories that are available it is easy to spend far more on extras than the gun itself and my personal favorite a pre64 Winchester 30-30 lever action. I'm still contemplating whether to put a peep sight on. It is a top ejector so putting a scope on would take more work. I plan on getting a hand gun eventually which my top choice would be a 1911. I like the style of those.

When I give my 200.00 to the ATF, it's not only for suppressors ... sometimes I choose an SBR
Of course ... if you choose an SBR, and you want to shoot it will full-power .223's ... I'd invest in a gas-buster charging handle - and if the gas-block is made of aluminum it will eventually erode to the point that you will get some 'blow-back' ... just a little
