The beauty of the MacBook Pro is that the Mac processor runs PC programs than PC machines do.

    Default Me too

I have been using Mac's for about ten years now.
    Started on a PowerBook.
I got sick and tired of letting my then girlfriend borrow my work-pc to play Soilitaire, only to have it go blue-screen after ten minutes.
So I actually bought the Powerbook for her.
Took 2 days before I bought a second one for me

Now I have too many(the missus says)
Really love the user experience on the mac.

I do use Windows from time to time, mostly support for colleagues and friends, since I've been in the business for many years.
But for me, the choice is pretty easy!

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

i am typing this on my 17" MacBook Pro ... the best laptop on the market.
I'd buy that in a minute if the choice was between Mac and Windows, but there are better specced laptops on the market and I'd take one of them any day with my linux

Originally I was a PC user. It was affordable, and let me get my work done in highschool. In college I warmed up to Macs because I did all my film editing on Final Cut Pro. Naturally, after graduation, I saved some cash and got a 15 inch MacBook Pro, and loaded it up with all sorts of editing software.

I love it. It runs well, requires little care, and just doesn't seem to get hung up like PC's do. Even if I wasn't running editing software, I wouldn't go back to a PC. Despite being a bit pricey, you can't beat a computer with that kind of dependability.

steve jobs is making a killing.

    Default Oh yeah

Been a Mac user for years. I use it in my recording studio and my web development business - no problems at all - unlike the Windows stuff I use at another job. I am also certified in AHDC.

Once you go Mac - you won't go back!

Just wanted to update - if you have any questions I am not opposed to assisting anyway I can.

Also, for the jealousy...I am about to buy a Mac Pro.
