Have you had a look over on linuxquestions.org, chances are someone there has done it.

    I own and use both.

Windows has given me the most sweat, tears and cursing since the early days, Mac has given me the most joy and pleasant experiences.

No, I haven't looked there, but I have look on Open Source and Linux Forums I'll look on linuxquestions.org today.

Linux has come a long way in since 98 when I first started messing around with it. I think I am ready to make the switch!

i am a Mac ADDICT! I have a Macbook, an iMac, an iPod, an iPhone. The longer you have it the more you will love it! You will find yourself checking the apple site to see what's next, reading reviews of the newest version of OSX, and The Apple Store will become like a mecca. Windows PC's are for people, and don't inspire much enthusiasm, but a Mac, it is a culture. PC's are like disposable Bic razors, Mac's are like a freshly honed shiny straight razor.

And that's where I would have to respectfully disagree

Well, my old PC (I still have it) is now infected w/ a horrific hijacker-type worm that blocks my antivirus software & makes horrific popups every 10 seconds... Luckily, all my docs are on my Mac, & that is backed up daily on Time Capsule, so I won't lose anything, no matter what! So for me, the Mac is easier, yes! Probably take me a week to figure how to remove the f***ing thing, though... Or I could always wipe the HD, but I'm lazy...
