Last night's pipe was my Capri free hand with Ashton's "Winding Road" after a trip to Smoky Mountain Knife Works. It was cold out last night and I had ice on the window this morn.....

Sounds like the consciences for the northern hemisphere at this point...

The radio said it's suppose to get to 80F here today with high winds, 40+ MPH...

Made it to my day off and had quite a week at work. Having my second cup of coffee and my first bowl. 9 year old Esoterica Dunbar in my Jess Chonwitsch. The Jess was my fiftieth birthday present to myself 10 years ago and was an estate, although near new condition. Paid more for it than any new pipe I've ever bought. Good news, it's value has increased quite a bit since I've had it (good news for my kids anyway, I'll never sell it).

The Dunbar has matured and melded very nicely, a very nice mild smoke.

Just so I'm not confused as being some type of elitist, I'm sitting in my OshKosh bibs with a long underwear shirt on.

Looks like some tasty tobacco... I can see the age on the inner wrap... great coloring!

My wife has not been felling well and from a Jamaican friend at work she has been trying a ginger extract/drink so I got some ginger beer.

The hone looks at first like a barber hone but when looked at close it is man made but should be courser. I haven't lapped it yet.

A Falcon pipe with some Macbaren Laitikia blend.

A Robert Klaas travel razor that I spent to much on much wanted at the moment. After looking close at the pin I think it has been rescaled. Should go good in my camper though.

A few of the locks that I got and they have been giving me fits. I haven't gotten any of the keyless ones open yet. I should have more skill than this.....

The race car my grandson left out. He is good at cleaning up his mess and if that is the worst I find I can't complain.

Hope this isn't TMI but a snap shot into my life.

That reminds me. I've been meaning to get a set of lock picks.

It was the Churchwarden today, but you've all seen it before so no pictures.

An old Castello that has been sitting unused in a rack in my home office for at least ten years, filled with the 9 year old Dunbar.

The photo really amplifies the dust that has settled on it (really doesn't look that bad). But since I figured out how to turn the flash on, I took another of the Chonowitsch that shows the grain.

Need to polish the stem on the Chonowitsch.

So the Castello smoked quite nicely, so I cleaned it up a little.

    It does look better.
