Yeah the plaid is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". I assume you meant the bean bag ?These pipes are perfect for a vest pocket.

I got me a deja vu.

That is exactly the same pattern our military uses in bedcovers.

    It's corporal sammakko (=frog).

Long story long. It happened in maybe 1989 or 1990. I was serving in coastals (coastal jaegers) in the island named Utö. Utö means 'the outernmost island', almost in the middle of nowhere.

In those days, in the times of the cold war, it was very everyday that foreign ships violated our territorial waters. Usually they were fishing vessels with hell of a lot of antennas, coming from well-known country.
Every time it happened, at the craziest times almost weekly, we had to run into our alarm positions and stay there until orders to get back. Me and my crew had a position down at the shoreline, cold, wet and windy place. Mould, bats, rats here and there. At the wintertime there were lot of dead, frozen frogs.
Sometimes we had to stay there for several days without getting anything to eat so the boys and girls were pretty pissed off.

This happened once again. After many hours i said to my crew that enough is enough. from the radio i had been heard the the ship has been away for hours. We're getting back to barracks now, eat some and come back.

As we were walking to barracks i saw some high officer with shiny boots coming to us and i knew this would be trouble. Of course he stopped us and asked me: Hey sgt, why are you leaving your positions while the alarm is on?
So i said, sir, we have a permission to get some food but i didn't want to do it without leaving a good person into watch service. Just in case.
Well who is this person in watch? He is corpolar Frog and i know he is the right person to stay and keep watch in such a cold and windy place.
    'Well done, sgt.'

But here's my sat eve pipe. HU Tuarekh from Autograph. Rooster IPA on the side.

And here is me. Back in those days i were young. At some excercises (orange vest), charging a remote anti-personnel mine.
