I found a good use for a Gold Dollar. It works great slicing up some Bogie

I love that Bogie. I gave my cousin some to chew the other day and he really liked it. He said it tasted like good old fashion tobacco and the nicotine hit had him all riled up. Bouncing around and talking our ear off. When it was time to go I cut him off a few more inches for the road. Some of the best tobacco made IMO.

No question is dumb!
Either way but I prefer to smoke it.

Like 32t said you can smoke or chew it. I slice it up and smoke it and my cousin chews so we both enjoyed it our own way. 100 years back twists (Bogie is the blend name) were made to be smoked or chewed and Gawith still makes old time twists like “Bogie” the same way and with the same equipment they made it with back then. Very strong tobacco.

New one for me is Mac Baren HH Pure Virginia. One bowl and I'm sold on the very pleasant easy going VA. I see a box in my future. Smoking my SMS Meer for full effect. Great tasting flake.Don't drink and shave!

I know it’s hard to believe as it only happens several times a day but some Old Joe Krantz in a little Castello Sea Rock.
Have about 9 hours into this knife so far. Worth nothing to anyone but me as it was my Grandfather’s box knife that he used all the time at his paint store. When I was young I worked with him and he retired at 84 after my uncle had bought the store from him.
The bevel was a U shape and could not cut anything. Grandpa really abused that knife. Thought it was time to bring it back but not loose all the patina or the electrical tape handle, done in three colors.
It will have a place of honor on my reloading bench when it is finished to remind me of “Opie” every day.
