I've tried a few of the Dunhill blends so it's a shame they stopped manufacturing them. This is the first time I've tried this blend, it's a nice mellow smoke.

Peace pipe given to me by my good buddy. (His son is also my daughter's boyfriend) It works but the bowl isn't airtight in the stem, so you can't pack it very tightly. I need to make a rack to display it on the wall.

    Gents, a question.

5 years ago I bought some lovely aromatic tobacco when I was visiting a friend out of state. Said tobacco was in a ziploc bag and placed in a drawer upon my arrival back home and was forgotten until recently.

Tobacco looks good, still smells amazing and is still moist. Is there any remote chance the tobacco is salvageable?

    Fire it up.
If not dried up as you say it should be ok. Aros do not age like non-aros but it should be ok

A 1982 Charatan Skater. It was a virgin finish when new.

I tried a bit of Gawith and Hogarth Dark Cherry Twist in a small Meerschaum. Not at all bad, in fact very tasty. From all of the reviews I was expecting a massive nicotine assault, but not at all.

Dunhill blends are still being manufactured but are under the Peterson pipe tobacco brand. Dunhill sold the recipes/blends to STG but they could no longer use the Dunhill name. Part of Dunhill's exit from the tobacco world.
