Dear Friends, about twenty years ago I started smoking pipes but quit almost immediately. Now thanks to you I have reopened the old drawer and I found in my magnificent seven (this number always comes back ) and a box of tobacco that was definitely not my favorite ...

I used to smoke Balkan Sobranie, but unfortunately is no longer available here so, after a little restoration (I removed the sulfur that emerged from the ebonite), today I dared to smoke this old tobacco moistened in vodka with my Peterson and...it worked!

Welcome back, nice looking pipes. Can't help you on the possible divorce(snicker)This would be a good time to contemplate over a nice bowl of Latakia I reckon.

I did not smoke my pipes for many years.
When I started again I wondered why I ever quit.
    Enjoy

Today I smoked this nice tobacco I got recently, Samuel Gawith Perfection. I think it's good. A mixture of Virginia, Latakia and Orientals.

Just about anything from Gawith Hoggarth is good.
Their products are very hard to find in the US.

Smokingpipes got some in last set week and it was gone in two hours

No pics tonight but coupla things. First off I am loving Boswell's Tobacco's.......Mmmm Good. Their Premium Burley and full smokey English Northwoods is out of this world. I dare say he has filled my void where McClellend once was .

    Happy !

Second, I was out for a pipe the other night at work and this fella walks by with his dogs to which I immediately being me commented on how cute etc. etc.He tells me he and his 10 yr. old son had seen me before and the boy commented to his Father on how cool my pipe was......future pipe smoker.........well grudging Gov't beauracy blah blah and anti smokers....................we can only hope so !

IF YOUR GONNA SMOKE,DO IT RIGHT AND DO IT WELL AND CHUCK THOSE DIRTY NASTY CIGS !! SMOKE A PIPE,IT'S WHAT GREAT COMMON MEN DO .
