That's a unique pipe stand, I don't believe I've ever seen one quite like it.
Also, love the pipe. The band is very nice and I adore pipes that use the burls natural pebble top.

Welcome Olivier, Is there any correlation between your moniker and the really nice olive pipe?

Not really, Olivier is my surname. I'm actually a knife maker but I also make tobacco pipes and some other "stuff" if I get the time.

havent been around for a while, been working crazy hours. but i felt i would post that the pipes are taking slowly, for some reason i still find myself smoking my marlboros when i dont want to be, but im working on it. i have found that i do like the dunhill 965. bharner initially asked if i knew of anyplace local to buy some, at first i didnt, but i have found that the better of the 3 tobacco shops in town sells it bulk, or at least they do till its gone. at first i wasnt sure about it, but it has pretty much become my other favorite, next to irish flake, what to do, what to do.

965 is not a bad blend. Another English that I recently smoked that was quite good in fact, was Early Morning Pipe. I'd also recommend Billy Budd from C&D if you've developed a latakia jones. And of course, Old Joe Krantz from C&D for more than your R.D.A of vitamin N (this stuff would probably do very well at weening you off the Cowboy Killers.)

I'm smoking a medium American/English (i.e. Burley + Latakia) called Country Squire purchased form a local brick and mortar tobacconist yesterday. Very good smoke indeed.
