Tom - They are one of my favorite blenders, but unfortunately in the U.S.A. they are in short supply these days. My favorite blends are Full Virginia Flake, 1792 Flake, and Bracken Flake. Wonderful stuff!

Manah gave me this information.I sent a message to Gawith and they forwarded my message to the importer in Germany who gave me address and phone# of dealers nearby. I try this stuff next time. It is amazing to get an information about a UK- factory from Israel and some more information from the USA.

It is truly a small world.

If you like Virginias the Full Virginia Flake is a must try. The 1792 and Bracken are similar and very strong and dark, both with different flavoring added, and are more "love it or hate it."

Since you like latakia blends, I would recommend Squadron Leader, which is very popular. And of course they have many other good blends, these are just my favorites.

    Many thanks,
I'll talk with my dealer and order 2 or 3 different packages and try it.

I have some experiences with SG tobaccos over the years as it is one of those few brands that are still available locally. I haven't of course tried them all and probably will ever do, but in general i would say that most SG blends are mid to strong in nicotine. I've not met any mild SG blend yet.
If you are after latakia then Chocolate, Balkan or Squadron Leader are your choice.
Bracken Flake and 1792 are both very strong and without latakia.
Celtic Talisman is aromatized, but like all SG blends, aromatics is mostly on the name. I haven't been able to taste much candies.
Full Virginia Flake (FVF) is just great pure virginia tobacco. Also great for making your own mixtures.
Kendal Cream is another that i've tried, and once again: not much cream but very rich and tasty tobacco.

These are the ones that i've tried. There are many others but after i've met Chocolate and Balkan flakes and Squadron Leader i'm not sure if i needed any other tobaccos to try. Heavily aromatic tobaccos are something different but as said, i haven't been able to find them from SG.

    I'm blind!
Now I realized that also DanPipe sells the Gawith-tobaccos at their website.

This is a real beautiful pipe. You can't see much Pietenpauws as they are very rare. Most are real unique design, and yours is one of the nicest i've seen.
