    My Spitz Dog (as we call those MN's) is stamped 1942.

    Not sure i have to check when i get home but i think mine is marked 1944 or 45. I just sold my ak due to the high demand. So i had to show the m44 some love .

    I have a couple myself, love them. A guy at work had a FFL and got a good deal on them, 125$ for a standard one, 145$ for a hex receiver. I think he sold 38 of them to guys in the three plants, he bought 75! Geez, makes me want to watch "Enemy at the Gates" again!

    That is another great and highly reliable gun. Very familiar to me (i guess Thomas and Alex too).
    A Finnish version, Sako-Valmet is a standard weapon in Finnish military, although we have several other types and calibers as well. I have mine at work.

    Here's just a pic, taken at my home base (not by me). Boys and girls from the naval reckon team doing their exercises. For a reason i do not know, we call them usually as hattifatteners (Moomin character)
