Alright fellas, after almost two years of pipe smoking, I've finally settled on Virginia and Perique blends as my go-to tobaccos. I've heard of people cellaring their tobacco, and it seems that that these VaPer blends are well-suited to aging. I'm planning on buying a bunch of tins, and some bulks to seal up in mason jars-- and finding out what happens.
For those of you that have aged some tobacco before, do you have any tips you'd like to pass along? And, how long should I expect to age them before there is any appreciable difference? Thanks in advance for any advice.
BTW, has anybody tried Luxury Bullseye Flake? What are your thoughts?"The ability to reason the un-reason which has afflicted my reason saps my ability to reason, so that I complain with good reason..."

Thanked: 1160Interesting part is,I would have guessed the bulk stuff in jars would have been the thing to go for,but it makes sense, just like wine to buy tinned and keep it closed till matured.

Very...
One of the first cash crops grown in the British colonies of North America was tobacco. Nicotine was one of the first mass produced recreational drugs to take the world by storm.
Tobacco also helped finance the Americans' revolution against the British Empire.

LBF is one of the best in my opinion... A little sweet with a VA kick...The BC does wonders for it, smooths it out some...
I would have to say that after 6-9 months you will see a change, at 1 year they should be great...
I have some tobacco's that are 3 years+... They are great!Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...
