Never heard of Draugr but it must be Rahko (might also be a nasty creature named Kratti) in Finnish mythology. Rahko wasn't a dude you'd like to meet. Loviatar or Louhitar war similar, but woman.

There were at least two groups of dead people in Finnish/Scandinavian mythology. There were 'kalmaväki' (dead people) and kirkkoväki (kyrkogrim/Church grim). Some of these folks were good, but most were not. You better lock your doors when they are on a move

Ancient mythologies (and not only Scandinavian) are very interesting. And what's more interesting is how many of todays beliefs and manners have their roots in faraway ancient times. Some almost unchanged. Most of our religious holidays etc are much older than 2000 years.

    Have a nice weekend too.
    Grendle.....bad bad baaaaad ! Yay snow !!!

Hope you didn't try and light it with that flint ad striker mate. It would take a bit to get any enjoyment out of the pipe lighting it that way I would imagine!
