    Thank you!
This pipe works greatly with the Red Rose tobacco, I will devote her to it!

Next time I visit my local tobacconist, I'll keep an eye out for the Independence tobacco you're looking for. It's rough to be without a favorite.

To console myself of the loss of my clay pipe, and because today it was my birthday, I bought myself this Savinelli Qandale. It is very pleasant, and has a funny story. The tobacconist kept on calling it "Gandalf". He said the Savinelli representative person used to call it so. I guess they had to change the name because Vauen bought the rights of the Lord of the Rings pipes... After all, "Qandale" doesn't mean anything...
Tobacco: independence. I had lunch with my band and their families (lot of children running around), and we ended up smoking Independence all together. We emptied the tin, and I will have to buy more. The problem is that it is not going to be imported to Italy any more, and so I will have to buy every tin I find, just to be sure. Tomorrow I will start the hunt!

My rebirth into the enjoyment of the pipe continues. This evening it's Frog Morton OTB in my first cob, a gift from the King of Cobs, Sir Nosewarmer. Nice way to end a warm day, it's after 1900 and it's 28 degrees C, with winds tomorrow predicted to be 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45, promises to be quite miserable. But, I live in the moment, and right now, my moment is just fine!!
