It's one of those new SG tobaccos (4 in total). They were all available at the local bm store, but i picked only this to try.
The others are Spring time, English summer and Scottish autumn flakes.

The web says about Winter time flakes: Samuel Gawith Winter Time Flake is a choice blend of Latakias and pressed Virginias giving a rich slow burning tobacco for the experienced pipe smoker. A sweet yet spicy taste with a medium to full strength.
Pretty ok, i say, but i guess that Commonwealth and Balkan flakes will stay as my Latakia favorites (from SG).

Sure! It is a matured Virginia blend which combines reds and stoved blacks. Very tasty, sweet, mellow and mild in my opinion. It is a flake cut but I usually smoke it rubbed. Has a good moisture level right from the opened tin and smokes cool and does not bite. Wife does not complain when I smoke it. Very good try if I may suggest.

As for the pipe, well, isn't lovely!?
    Seasons greetings Nightblade!!!

Yeah after the McClelland 2000 and the Frog Morton I gotta give Props to McClelland ,they make good stuff. I kinda figured the review would sound good like that. Bet it smells good enough to eat like my 2000 does. I get lots of compliments on it. Seasons cheer to you too Briar !

You'll be all right mate. Head colds, in my experience, never last too long...Compared to a chest cold...Unless the head cold turns into a chest cold, well, you're sort of screwed then, but the chances of that aren't very high...Unless you have real shitty luck like me, in which case the chances are high, and you're sort of screwed then...Why?! Well because then your immune system gets all worn down and leaves you open to 'flu and bronchitis and stuff and that always lays you up for a while, and you feel miserable, and you're coughing and spluttering all the time and no one wants to be near you, and sometimes you don't have the luxury of taking time off just to stay in bed...Geez mate, I think you might be in for a hard time. Best you have a nice cuppa tea and a lie down for a while .
