I'm blessed as my father loved Bluegrass & Country and my mother loved what she called 'Boogie Woogie' and so I appreciate all kinds of music.

Billy Fury-Quite the big deal in the UK once upon a time (early-mid 60's). Died in 1983 of Rheumatic fever complications..sigh.

Maybe it's because they were the first real band I saw live back in the mid-80s, or maybe it's because I just need an occasional Texas blues-rock kick in the butt, but every once in a while I have a powerful need to go back to that little ol' band from Texas to shake the cobwebs loose. Today is one of those days.
Good to see the b'ys have still got it...
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
