Very nice collection! How do you like the Edison? They're made about an hour from where I live. I've been tempted to contact Brian and see about a visit.

I just ordered some sample vials, so if anyone else wants to get an ink exchange going let's talk about it. We need to get Dwarvenchef involved, he's got ink AD (IAD?) pretty bad. He hates blue, but other than that he's OK.

I also ordered a bottle of J. Herbin 1670 if anyone is interested.

I couldnt be happier with the Edison, well except that I dont have another one. I have been waiting on purchasing another Edison Pearl, but with an extended barrell. The pen holds a ton of ink, and the nib is perfect. Brian is a pleasure to deal with, and his customer service is top notch. You would be hard pressed to find better to deal with.

If your as close as an hour, I would definitely contact him for a vist.

I enjoyed meeting Brian Gray of Edison Pens at the Philadelphia Pen Show last weekend. Nice to have the options he offers. I have my eyes on a Pearl, bulb filler, no window, in flecked tortoise acrylic. It is somewhat translucent so you can see your ink reserve even without a window. While at the show I bought a Belmont from Richard Binder (www.gatecitypen.com) in tortoise, gold italics nib. Check his pens out.

You're doing something right when an Edson doesn't even make it into the tray. Very nice. How about a left to right rundown of the line up?

Youll have to tell me how that Belmont is. I have an open window with it up now. I would probably get it ground to a cursive italic though.

UV glue is for my waders. Fly fishing anyone? A whole 'nother obsession.

nice review. Ill have to look into getting a 0.7mm Cursive Italic and seeing how much that runs.
