it's worth it just to see gary pick up a strat again.. just goes to show you the gear doesn't matter, A great guitarist will always sound like themselves..
Guys. I've decided this thread should really become a video thread for great tunes. We seem to all be on the same wavelength so far and if we're not we're constructive about it. This is virtually unheard of on any music forum I'm a member of.
I propose the name of this thread becomes "When Music Didn't Suck" and should be for the great tunes that cover bands never play..
I'll start with this

I saw AC/DC in 1980 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, when i was a younger lad. And now at 55 i would see them again in a heartbeat!!! They were the best sounding band!!!!!! When i use to drag race the 1/4 mile in the late 70's,this was the kind of music that was made for driving FAST. Even when i hear it on the radio today,my foot goes down on the gas pedal. Ahhh just an old man reliving his youth !!!

I have an autographed guitar of theirs , and my four year old son loves to sing big balls and whole lotta Rosie. Just the best.

Thanked: 1185Love me some AC/DC, for sure. I've always had a special affinity for any band that could integrate bagpipes into a rock and roll song. Of course no discussion of AC/DC would be complete without a bit of Jim Brewer
