Yesterday my copy of Warhammer 40.000: Space Marine arrived!
What an excellent game that is. And even on my limited system is runs smooth as silk. Anyone else own this game?

Who remembers, owns, still plays Carmaggedon?
This is still my favourite driving game ever, even though it looks really dated now.
The sequels were awful though, such a shame - about time for a remake I think

I'm the same. I love the novels (if you've not read any of those go buy one of the Omnibus ones...cheap and really good value for money) and I own every Dawn of War game and expansion except for Winter Assault (can't find that one anywhere).
Space Marine is basically the first game that makes you feel like an actual Space Marine...that is a 7-9 foot giant that is close to invulnerable and can take on hordes armed with only a knife.
They did the whole atmosphere of the game really well and like I said the game runs very smooth. I have a fairly limited system.
2g RAM
1G 5770 Ati videocard
3ghz dual core Athlon processer
and the visuals on the game are stunning and never seem to encounter any performance problems. I play the game with an Xbox360 joystick but have heard that many people prefer keyboard and mouse.
I watched this review and afterwards I just HAD to own it.
Bought mine on e-bay for under €20. Bargains are out there so don't be suckered into buying it directly through STEAM (unless you can't wait). And if you want to give it a try there's a demo on STEAM.
