    Why can't you believe folks post pics of a Patek in the same thread as a digital watch?

    Watches are different things to different people. This is a thread for everyone not just the well heeled who can afford watches in the 5 digit realm.

    Personally I'd put one of my pocketwatches from the early 20th century against any modern Patek in terms of overall quality.

    My comment was simply stating that the spectrum of watches is very diverse in the thread. The thread is titled "What kind of watch to you like" thread, so fair enough. I also like antique pocket watches and own a couple myself.
