Thanked: 983He is a smart fella, most certainly never dumb enough to pit his... rhymes with guts...against my boots. I was mostly referring to some of the ill bred mongrels that are kept by their well trained humans. Such people who let 'pookey' do whatsoever 'pookey poo' wants. 'Pookey' rarely comes back for a second helping of size 12 steel caps .
My dog is attracted solely by what he see's me eating at meal times, regardless of whether or not he'd actually eat it himself!

Thanked: 4Corcoran Jump Boots
I used to wear Corcoran Jump Boots(WW2 issue style #1500) all the time when I worked for FedEx. Very comfortable once you broke them in, and took an awesome shine with Kiwi Parade Gloss polish.

While they weren't black combat boots, I wore high top work boots for the 20 years that I did ironwork. Red Wing Irish Setters mostly, and a few others. Now I favor Birkenstocks or Chuck Taylor Converse All Stars.

Corcorans were mandatory in the mid 60's Airborne Brigades as was actually having a Parachute badge. Nam jungle boots, again mid 60's, would rot given pretty much constant immersion. The toe area leather would just pull away from the treads. You needed to be prepared to do the supply sgt harm to get a new or newer pair issued.
