I meant to post it yesterday, when I took the pic, but I had just donated plasma & was a bit out of it.
Pre shave. And the interior of my car just after dusk is terrible lighting lol.
I'll upload a post shave pic in the next day or so... probably not enough time before bed to shave, & I don't shave in the morning.Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.

Thanked: 4206Giving blood is paying it forward IMO. Good on ya gents!
5 shaves into Movember and half way through the fundraising efforts.
The wife says I can say my 'stache is back. I think another weeks growth is really needed.
Keep up the drive for awareness!

Only part of it. Yea, Mike, it is not an entirely selfless act on my part; as I am being compensated monetarily, "for my time", by donating plasma.
I go to a place called Bio Life, which just opened a second location this year. They pay (commonly, not explicitly) $20 for the first donation of the week, & $30 (sometimes +bonuses) for the second donation of the week. U must have two days between donations, and try to stay well hydrated (other terms/conditions apply). I get my red blood cells back, because the machine you get hooked up to uses centrifugal force to separate the two primary components of the blood from each other. Takes me roughly an hour in total each time, & I only do it on my days off in order to account for the fatigue. It is just a wee bit quicker for most people, but I have trouble remembering to drink enough water lol (average intake is okay, but you should almost double it the 24hrs leading up to donating).
The only other gane in town for things like this is The Red Cross, but they don't pay, and that is whole blood.Decades away from full-beard growing abilities.
