Thread: Other "old time" hobbies
-

I'm into mechanical watches, golf, archery (not the longbow, though..). Does Shhoting fall into 'old time hobbies'? If yes, then that's part of my list as well.

Like Razors - what else are you into?
In another post[/URL] Joel Lowett brings up how he has "found that many that partake in straight razor often hold similar interest". In that post he talks about the band Hot Tuna.
In another post TrueStereo states I assumed he meant bicycle.
Based on Joel's post I figured I would start this post to see what other types of things people who are interested in RAZORs are also interested in.

My interests are way too many to catalog here so I'll just throw a few out there:
In Joel's post I stated my Tuna interest. My music interests are stuck in the 60/70s (Top Favs of the era are Steve Miller's first 5 pre Joker/Eagle albums and Spirit's Dr Sardonicus).
To TrueStereo's post I have to say "bikes are a passion of mine". I currently own 10 that I consider my personal rides with quite a few more that are just in my present inventory. My own rides vary from full-blown-carbon-racer to single speed steel bikes, with an aluminum MTB (for trail riding) and Hybrid (for around town shopping).
Some others: comics (still have my early ones like Captain America in Tales 1 thru 99 and a good deal of the first 100 Fantastic Four); guns (way too many to mention); Toys (huge collection of Smith Miller, Tonka, Struco trucks).
That's a good starter - anyone else want to mention their non SR/DE/RAZOR interests?Last edited by MrBlimp; 02-17-2013 at 03:12 AM.

My 31 year old son is into that gaming stuff - he likes shooting things up in video games.
He is a contributing writer for MonthlyGamer.com. His name is Whyle Kye Mauriello. You can check out his review of Far Cry 3.Last edited by MrBlimp; 02-17-2013 at 05:07 AM.

Ms Blackwolf,
My wife is very into the fiber arts - she cards, spins, and does just about everything else involved with turning animal hair into usable yarn - though her interest is ART yarn. Oh, and she doesn't use a SR. She has used a DE to shave her legs but that was years ago.

Does sitting on the porch in a rocking chair, smoking a pipe with a shotgun in the lap count?
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...
