I'm 25 years old and will turn 26 in September. Been shaving for almost 3 years, now. I'm not the youngest here, but I'm not the eldest as well...

I'm 61 and started wet shaving a few months ago. I didn't realize this was such a young man's game!

I'm forty-five. Been messing with straights for twenty years. Only been using them effectively for five.

I am also 23. Just out of college and started using a straight a couple of weeks ago. So far, I am wondering why I did not do this years ago. I just got so sick of dragging pieces of plastic across my face and paying abhorrent prices for them. Shaving is now a pleasure rather than a chore.

I'm loving how so far three of the youngest members got the idea at least in part from Sweeney Todd.

Slightly off-topic, I watched the movie after I had started reading up on straights and proper care and all that, and I was flinching half the time he pulled his out. Just go to the shave contest scene with Pirelli and watch Sweeney strop. It's terrible.

Well..I'm 47.I like old things.Things that let you be in control as apposed to using the toys the man provides to keep us dependent and docile. The more things you can do on your own the better you are.I would like to live more off the grid one day and my straight blade gets me one inch closer to that. I should just become amish. Plus I appreciate craftsmanship at an affordable price. This world needs more craftsman . Been fartin around for seven years with my blade and finall started getting serious about it about 3 months ago. Doing quite well with it so far. Like some of you,I also enjoy the looks people give when I tell them I shave with a straight blade. Lemmings are funny that way. Good shave m8te
