I talked with Mike Blue last month. He was originally free this weekend but had some personal plans come up that prevented him from making it this year. He said he is planning on making it next year.
Sorry to hear you won't be able to make it PinkLather, I was looking forward to meeting you in person. Guess that means I will hav to harass everyone next year all over again for another meet :0The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Next in line is Captains Choice “FineAftershaves and Essentials”. Captains Choice is well known for their aftershaves and did not disappoint with a donation of a large bottle of Bay Rum aftershave and three sample packs containing 4 of their aftershave scents (North, Lime, Bay Rum, CatO’ Nine Tails). The smell when opened this package after receiving it in the mail was awesome!
*I opened and broke down 2 of the packs for the purpose of the picture. All sample packs will be wrapped in bubble wrap and in a little baggy.*The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 4WOW, Matt you don't mess around at all! I was excited before but now I have a shortage of words....... first thought is THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS. Can't wait to meet everyone involved in this sport. I'll be bringing my SR but that's about all I've collected so far. I need stropping help with it more than showing it off. Any need to bring brush and scuttle? Not fancy but I didn't know if we would be "working lather". I still have a bit of a VDH puck but I can empty it for Saturday, if anyone thinks I should bring it? You guys with the extensive collections of gear blow me out of the scuttle. G

The next donation is brought to us by Barrister & Mann with a selection of eight different shaving soap samples. I have to say that when I opened the package to take pictures, the smell was like opening a bag of saltwater taffy for the first time. Simply put, it smelled delicious! Scents included are Bay Rum, Adagio, Roam, Solstice, Lime/Lavender/Cedarwood, Seville, Cheshire, Vetiver/Heather/Clary Sage.

Raffle details...
I am planning on the drawing being held about 2pm. This allows more time for people to show up. If this is a major problem for anyone, please shoot me a PM.

Thanked: 4All this gear and you just 'dabble' in the straight razor game? I've heard about this thing called "RAD" that can be contracted very easily by hanging out with folks like you....... this is gonna be a blast. Until tomorrow, G
