At this point, I am really interested in meeting other members, but you are about the closest. If I were to attempt to show up for this Iowa meet, I'd have to talk another attendee into doin a carpool situation with their RV...

And then there is the matter of the wife. She has, at the very least, a passing interest in sharp 'n shiny things as well as blacksmithing. But that would be countered by what is essential car related PTSD from more than a dozen not-at-fault car wrecks by the age of 26, and impaired mobility. Sooo... she hates long car rides lol, and I can't say I blame her.
