It is charcoal, it will run a little less then 20 hours on a basket full of charcoal and hold the 225-250 range very good. Not much to look at but a good performer. It has two 22 inch grates.

I do not have a picture of it handy, but if you look up uds smoker on the web that is what it is.

Sounds great. Is it better with lump charcoal or good ole Kingsford? 20 hours is plenty

Does it have multiple levels? I’m excited to get that thing hot. And with the gas grill I think we have everything covered. Is it big enough for a couple of briskets?

One won’t be enough. We have to have one for the group and one for Pete

There are two levels, it will hold two briskets. There is also a small door on the side to add wood for smoke.

Hey, I'm getting old. Can't eat anywhere like I used to.

I'm more than willing to share with my friends.

I just love a brisket done right.

Would love to attend and meet some of the famous people I see here on the forum and on YouTube, if this is the right meeting. This meeting seems to be primarily for folks building razors and I would love to do that, but I don't think that's going to happen at this stage of my life. What I really need is some help with light restoration, building and installing scales, and honing. Would this meeting be appropriate or should I seek a different venue?
