STOP PRESS!!!!!
I have just heard from the nice lady at NTS. The centre has already been booked on the Friday night. The earliest time which we can get access to the centre is Saturday afternoon at 3. I spoke to her & confirmed that we still want it Saturday & Sunday. What I wondered is if we could still have our three nights, but stay Monday night too. Let me know if you think this is a good idea.
More later I have life to be lived.

I can only make one night -- arrive Saturday for the meet, stay the night, then leave on Sunday. Spike -- is this do-able?
Cheers

Jings Mark - that's a heck of a schedule. And if we are considering Saturday as arrival day - settling in etc. then Sunday is the razorcon followed by Monday as the 'day trip' and Tuesday morning (or Monday night) head home. I think you need a little bit more tme at least. I am imagining this as being one of my short holiday breaks this year rather than a one day get-together but that obviously won't suit everybody.

Union Leather Kilts ? I'm curious .. I was tempted by the Leather Utilty Kilts that are kicking around ...
I keep misread this cilt word and thinking something else . .pardon my ignorance but what is it ? Welsh Kilt ?
I tried desperatley to get an Irish O'Donnell ( Donegal ) Tartan for my wedding but sadly couldn't .. I instead bought a hand made/ hand sewn ancient Black Bute tartan .. ( Black with a real tartan through it ) -- pricey but worth it ..
UTILIKILTS : Kilts
gotta admit tho .. I'm still tempted to get a camo kilt ...

I'll probably have to forego then this year, which is a major shame because I was really hoping to hook up with you guys again, especially for a BIG round of golf.
With kids holidays to manage, I just can't manage the time off this year. Summer hols are normally 6 weeks, but due to the scam known as INSET days (Sandy, are y'hearing me?!), this year will be 7. And Easter is another half week longer for the same reason. Upshot -- my wife and I are splitting the childcare duties and that pretty much leaves me on zero contingency.
You know, sod the actual razorcon session, I'm happy just to pitch up on Saturday, get in a round of golf and some drinking that night, good company, good chat, and leave on Sunday!
