Thread: Toronto and Area Meet

The time and place works great for me. I just came from meeting two of the fine gentlemen from the forum at Tim Hortons. We had out the razors, hones, and a cricket bat and nobody even looked at us funny. So I think we will be fine.
BTW if today's little meet up is any indication of what the Toronto Meet is going to be like, the word EPIC comes to mind.
I should also mention that Maxi can put one wicked edge on a blade. I'm thinking he puts my honing to shame.Last edited by TrilliumLT; 03-13-2011 at 07:31 PM.

Thanked: 993Time and place works good for me. Can't wait to have the table tops covered in hones, razors and strops. I'm good to go.
Thanks again Teemus for booking the venue.

The meeting with TrilliumLT and Maxi was great.
Now I know how a sharp blade feels like.
Maxi took my two razors for honing.
TrilliumLT borrowed me one of his Bokers.
It was newbie heaven for me.
Thank you guys a lot.

Hey trill if your still interesten in using the Legion I just came from the one on 1577 Kingston rd/Kildonan one block east of warden. Kelly one of the VP's there said we could use the place on any Sat from 1:00 untill close for free. As a plus on Saturdays they have raffle's for meats from ST. Lawrence Market. If you guys want to have the meet there let me know and I will go back have another few beers and let Kelly know we are going to book there.

That sounds great, free is good. No time limit is great. Legion prices for drinks is a bonus too. (if the bar is open to us).
I'd say go for it but I'm just showing up, not planning it so I'll leave that aspect to the guys in charge. I can say thanks for the effort.

I like the idea of staying the heck out of the down town core. And I think those making longer trips will be able to find it a lot easier. I'm good with going to the legion just off Warden with not time limit and cheap liquor.
What's everyone else think?
