To the people who have just responded about the meet. Are you two talking about the original May meet on the 28th? Is that the one you're interested in attending, or is it the potential July/August get together?

Just trying to keep on top of the conversations. My week has been ridiculously busy so far....and it's not letting up until Friday afternoon! $%^####$!!!!!!

I was talking about the original meet on may 28th but I'd be interested in attending both!

Yes, probably best to keep this thread about the May meet, and wait to discuss a summer meet in another thread.

Basil, we're trying to find legions on the outer parts of T.O: North York sort of deal, close to the highway, or maybe off the DVP, so that travellers don't have to wind around a whole bunch of downtown streets.

I'll jump into making calls next week gents, like I said, this week is just a gong show.

I've been busy my self this week. I did call the one legion on Warden ave. He was very much trying to push us into renting the hall at $350. So I think that one is out.
Gotta find a place that is just happy letting us use there space and selling us beer and food.

Restaurant meet? I have seen others that have happened, but please do be aware that, at razor meets, time FLIES. You would not believe how fast the day can go (or, in WNY, how fast a weekend can go). I would like to humbly request that, wherever we meet, we try to pick a place that will not give us the boot.

In NY/NJ, I think meets have gone from about 10 or 11 till 6 or 7. In WNY, we go all weekend. At the MN meet I just attended, I think I was there till about 9.
