    Like the guys mentioned in the other thread about the dual hones, I noticed on another test razor too many laps on water (on this one I did over 60 laps on just water) made a harsh super-keen edge. I hadn't yet shaved with it but was testing on arm hair and it was grabbing the skin. After taking said razor back to the stone with some light slurry it seems to have softened the edge back up.

    During the tests we were doing 50 laps water only and it made probably the sharpest edge I personally have honed. After the tests I did 30 with slurry and 15 water only, it was much smoother
