Default Llyn Melynllyn purple welsh slate

I just finished my new friodur on a LM I picked up off ebay. Just 50 laps from light slurry to clear water with 10 stropping strokes before finishing on latigo and canvas. It might have been the most comfortable and closest shave I've had in quite a while. Not bad for an ebay queen.

Did you get that from an UK seller?

I have found the edges from shaving with such a stone as very crispy, like the finest crushed glass powder. Look forward to how everyone else finds the edges (I honed on a light slurry, gradually diluted to water, and spent some time just on water...then stropped). I did achieve amazing HHT though, but shave was disappointing compared to the HHT.

My edge was soft and forgiving, left no razor burn whatsoever.

sorry to do you this way, but I'd order one before they run out. One of the best finishers I've ever used.
