Thanked: 459I was about 3 seconds from "buy", but I choked on the listing when I saw the shipping is $30.
Not that I have any need for one, my stone cabinet seems to be abloom.
But who can resist trying out new stuff. I can't say I have any stones that make a purple slurry.

I made a hone from purple slate quarried in Newfoundland, It also had purple slurry. I also find it an amazing finisher, better edge then i get from my coti with lather. Ok not sharper but softer.
Being purple and slate it probably has a similar make up and similar properties.
