Bonjour Oustoura!

Bonne chance!

    Cheers, Steve

    Bonjour Whoever, Oops! Hello!

Basically I said that he is very lucky to be in Paris, and I speak a little French.

After the DMT, maybe you should very lightly breadknife the edge on the 1k to remove the unstable steel left by the deep scratches from the DMT. Don't use a DMT after this step.

Set the bevel with a 1k stone of your choice and be sure the DMT marks are completely gone. Use light pressure and more strokes so the edge does not flex.

After these steps, you should be able to finish the edge if the steel is good. Good luck!

    Cheers, Steve

No, lol, it literally means "I pray you" but it's a more formal way of saying "thank you"!

You are pushing my limits LOL.

wouldn't it be je vous , I thank you , not je t'en prie . i beg you

je t'en prie - Wiktionary it would be your welcome, in response to thank you

I understand that this is not a literal translation (according to my french teacher) and textbooks, but an accepted way of saying TY.
