    Verinder St Pauls

Just finished honing my newest razor. This is a near wedge. I used 2 pieces of tape. Then ran thru my Naniwa progression 1,3,8&12k. Then finished it off with my Translucent Arkansas.

As I am only 4 months in on straight shaving and honing my experience is VERY limited. That being said I find the finish on the Arkansas to be incredibly smooth. A much nicer shave than straight off my 12k.

    Cool

First one across my hones RigaRazor

    Chosera 1-5-10 Nakayama Finish

Little Faucet kisses that needed to come out at the the toe and at the tip

At the one 1k level the edge got a bit chippy, resolved at 5k with some killing of the edge on the corner and then a TNT

The Nakayama really brought out a nice hazy finish

Honing the factory edge of the Dorko 8/8". Chosera 1K, Okudo suita for the mid-range and finished off on one of my unknowns.
As the time passes, so we learn.

Cattaraugus wanted to fight a bit but finally with patients it came together.
All stones kuromaku , 1k, 2k, 5k, 8k, and naniwa 12k ss finisher. So I guess not all stones. Anyway have a good day
